Garnette Crigger

Garnette T. Crigger, 99, of Dardanelle, Arkansas, formerly of Huntington, WV, died Monday, October 8, 2012 at Stella Manor Nursing Home in Russellville, AR. She was the wife of the late Martin Eugene Crigger. Garnette is also preceded in death by her parents James Garfield and Dovie Scott Tackett, two brothers, Kyle Tackett and Burgess Tackett, a daughter-in-law Kay Roach Crigger and a grandson, Todd Keith Crigger. She is survived by two sons, David K. Crigger and wife Neva and Dr. Laurence P. Crigger and wife Sally, a granddaughter, Kimberly K. Humphreys and husband Michael, two great- grandchildren, Mariah and Keith Humphreys, a sister, Loraine T. Taylor Jr. and a granddaughter in law, Stacey Greer. Garnet was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and Eastern Star E.O.S. Chapter 8. A funeral service will be held 2:00 P.M., Monday, October 15 at Klingel-Carpenter Mortuary by the Rev. Dr. John Minihan. A visitation will be held from 1:00 P.M. until service time. Interment will follow at Woodmere Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Shriners Hospital.
