Obituary
David Lee Caldwell,
84, of Lavalette, WV, passed away on Saturday, June 29, 2013 at the Wayne
Nursing and Rehabilitation. Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday,
July 3, 2013 at 2:00 pm at the Reger Funeral Chapel by Pastor Jeff Lykins.
Burial will follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens. David was a retired
Electrical Gauge Mechanic with Owens Illinois. He was an avid golfer and
loved baseball. He played softball for the Owens Illinois company team. He
also ran cross country and pole vaulted for Marshall University. David was
born on June 14, 1929 in Huntington, WV the son of the late Henry and
Catheryn Fitzgerald Caldwell. In addition to his parents he was preceded in
death by his brother: Patrick Wilson Caldwell. He is survived by his loving
wife Kathleen Farley Caldwell, two sons and daughter in law: John and Kaori
Caldwell of Nagoya, Japan, Mike Mahone of Chandler, AZ., and a daughter and
son in law: Lisa and Chad Barnett of Concord, NC. Three grandchildren:
Carrie Tudor and Sean and Tyler Caldwell. Two great grandchildren; Reed and
Austin Tudor. A sister in law: Katie Caldwell of Huntington, WV. Friends may
call from 5-7 pm Tuesday, July 2, 2013 at the Reger Funeral Home.
