Obituary
Vanda Edwina Brown,
93, of Salem, WV, formerly of Huntington, WV, passed away Monday June 17,
2013 at Genesis Health Care of Salem, WV. Funeral services will be conducted
at 1 pm Thursday at the Reger Funeral Chapel by Pastor Roger Mooney. Burial
will follow in Woodmere Memorial Park, Huntington. She was born July 29,
1919 in Doddridge County, WV, a daughter of the late William and Mary
Elizabeth Reed. She retired after 24 years of service with the Smart Shop.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Virgil
F. Brown; six brothers Odward Reed, Clarence Reed, Carl Reed, Floyd Reed and
Burl Reed and three sisters Mildred Clevenger, Gussie Kinney and Wanda Reed.
Survivors include her niece Tina Swisher. Friends may call from 11 AM until
service time on Thursday at the Reger Funeral Home.
