Obituary
Loving wife and mother,
Marife Larangjo Travis,
31 of Lavalette, WV passed away Saturday, February 2, 2013. Funeral Liturgy
will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 7, at Sacred Heart
Catholic Church, Huntington by Fr. Levinus Uba . Burial will follow in
Dock’s Creek Cemetery, Kenova, WV. Marife was born January 4, 1982 in Antara
Libungan North Cotabato, Philipines, a daughter of Guadencio and Macaria
Larangjo. She was a production technician at Alcon Industries and attended
St. Paul College in the Philippines and MCTC. She is also survived by her
husband Cecil T. Travis, her son Thomas Lorenzo Larangjo Travis, two step
–daughters, Ashley and Alyshia, her grandmother, Conchita Mistoso, six
brothers: Albert, Rolando, Jennifer, Gaudencio, Jr., Warlito, and Julito,
four sisters: Marilou, Merry Ann, Melanie and Marie Cris, father-in-law and
mother-in-law Cecil and Polly Travis; one brother-in-law James W.(Jennifer)
Travis, three sisters-in-law , Susan (Gary) Arthur, Cathy Sperry, Karen
(Larry) Workman; five aunts and five uncles, including a very special aunt
Sister Orlina Mistoso, and hosts of nieces, nephews, cousins and lots of
friends. She touched many lives. She was loved by everyone who knew her; she
will be greatly missed. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the
Reger Funeral Home.
