Obituary
Ruth Evelyn Kelley Maynard,
92, of Huntington, passed away Sunday February 17, 2013. She was born
September 11, 1920 in Glen Easton, WV, a daughter of the late E. A. and Mary
Cecil Kelley. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her
husband of 59 years, Douglas Maynard. Survivors include a son and daughter
in law Gary and Debbie Maynard of Richmond, KY; daughter Donna Withrow of
Russell, KY and her fiancé Dave Davis; grandson J.D. Maynard and his wife
Emilie of Huntington, grandsons Jeremy Maynard of Berea, KY, Clayton Withrow
of Louisville, KY and Kevin Withrow of Russell, KY; great grandchildren
Nicole Maynard of Berea, KY, Tre, Sophie and Naomi Maynard of all of
Huntington and a sister Velma Hill of Madison, WV. Ruth was a homemaker, a
member of the Olive Baptist Church in Julian, WV, the Daughters of the
American Revolution and Help for Animals. There will be no visitation and
graveside services will be conducted privately. In lieu of flowers donations
may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association. Reger Funeral Home is in charge
of arrangements.
