Wetzel R. Spurlock
(November 27, 1916 - February 22, 2013)

Wetzel R. Spurlock, 96, of Ceredo, WV, passed away Friday February 22, 2013 at Hall’s Assisted Living, Huntington. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 pm Monday at the Reger Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in Woodmere Memorial Park, Huntington. He was born November 27, 2013 in Wayne County, WV a son of the late Burwell and Elizabeth Insco Spurlock. He was a retired steelworker with Conner’s Steel Co. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Ruth Virginia Spurlock, his beloved son Burwell “Billy” Spurlock and his close friends Jim and Lucille Corns. A longtime member of Ceredo Church of Christ, Wetzel leaves behind his friends and church family. A special thanks to the Hall’s Assisted Living staff for their kindness and caring for Wetzel.
