Obituary
Gordon L. Pyles,
81, of Huntington, widower of Bertha Pyles, passed away Monday August 26,
2013 at the Huntington Veterans Administration Medical Center. Funeral
services will be conducted at 11 am Wednesday at the Reger Funeral Chapel by
Rev. John E. Garrido. Burial will follow in Spring Valley Memory Gardens,
Huntington. He was born May 26, 1932 in Logan, WV a son of the late Alva and
Mary Virginia Ferguson Pyles. Gordon was a veteran of the US Army having
served during the Korean War. He was a retired employee of Owens Illinois.
In addition to his parents and wife he was preceded in death by two sons
Keith Pyles and Mark Pyles. Friends may call from 10 am until service time
at the Reger Funeral Home. The Veterans Honor Guard of American Legion Post
16 of Huntington will conduct graveside military rites.
