Obituary
Ruth Breeding Bailey
passed away on September 25, 2012 in Columbus, Ohio. Ruth was a native of WV
having graduated from Wayne High School, Wayne, WV in 1948. Ruth was
employed as a bookkeeper at the First Huntington National Bank (now Chase)
and the Watts Ritter Company until her retirement in 1993. She was an avid
quilter and shared her talent over the years with many relatives and
friends. Ruth is preceded in death by her mother, Willie Lucas Breeding,
father, Stewart Breeding, sister, Hope Breeding and beloved brothers Woodrow
Blankenship, Bill Breeding and Orvel Breeding. She is survived by one
daughter: Vicki Bailey Martin and her husband: Vernon Martin Jr.; sister:
Peggy Colley, brothers; Arthur Breeding (Gladys), Stuart Breeding (Lettie),
sisters in law: Phyllis Blankenship and Rebecca Breeding and many nieces and
nephews. The family would like to acknowledge particularly the many kindness
of her nieces, Sandy Breeding Fortner, Aurelia Smith and Beverly Burgess.
Services will be held at the Reger Funeral Chapel on Friday, September 28,
2012 at 11:00 am with Roger Smith pastor of the Truth Independent Baptist
Church presiding. Friends and family may attend visitation hours from 6-8 pm
Thursday, September 27, 2012 at the Reger Funeral Home.
