Obituary
Mary Ruth Ferguson Spurlock,
54, of Ashland, Ky., passed away Friday, July 6, 2012 at her residence.
Funeral services will be conducted at Noon Thursday at the Reger Funeral
Chapel by Jamie Baugh. Burial will be in Catlettsburg {Ky.} Cemetery. She
was born May 22, 1958 in Huntington, W. Va., a daughter of the late Morton
and Ruth Scarberry Ferguson. She was a homemaker. In addition to her
parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter; Sallie Watkins, two
sisters; Linda Workman and Phyllis Miller. She is survived by her
fiancé: Harold Childers, son and daughter in law: Scott and Kelly Ferguson
of Scottown, Ohio, two daughters: Autumn Kay Hanshaw and Amanda Lee Grubb
both of Ashland, KY. Ten Grandchildren; five brothers: Charlie
Ferguson of Knoxville, TN, Clarence Ferguson of Huntington, WV., Ronnie
Ferguson of Catlettsburg, KY; Terry Ferguson of Huntington, WV and Tommy
Ferguson of Idaho. Several nieces and nephews. Friends may call from
6-8 pm Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at the Reger Funeral Home, Huntington, WV.
