    Paul “Hack” Farley, 
    61, of Huntington, went to be with the Lord on Sunday July 8, 2012 at St. 
    Mary’s Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 am Wednesday 
    at the Jefferson Avenue Church of God, by Pastor Greg Tomlinson and Jim 
    Combs. Burial will follow in Forest Memorial Park, Milton, WV. He was born 
    July 26, 1950 in Delbarton, WV a son of Paul and Sallie Ferrell Farley. Hack 
    was a model of Christian servant hood. He invested 40 years in ministering 
    to the needs of others. Offices he held included Children’s pastor, minister 
    of Christian Education, Pastor and District Overseer. In his last pastorate 
    at the Cornerstone Church of God in Nitro, WV. Hack also served his 
    community and fellow pastors as a prayer leader. He was a mentor for young 
    pastors and was a faithful colleague of ministers throughout West Virginia. 
    Hack was preceded in death by his daughter Paula Farley Young. Survivors 
    include his wife of 42 years Sally Cook Farley, two daughters and sons in 
    law Beth and Gary Toppins and Renee and Amos Simmons all of Huntington; four 
    grandchildren Hope, Garrett and Hannah Toppins and Andrew Simmons; brother 
    and sister in law Stewart and Sheila Farley of Lewisburg, WV; sister and 
    brother in law Millie and Greg Tomlinson of Chesapeake, Ohio; several nieces 
    and nephews and his best friend in the ministry David Wall. Friends may call 
    from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm Tuesday at the Jefferson Avenue Church of God. 
    Contributions may be made to the Hack Farley Memorial Fund, c/o the 
    Jefferson Avenue Church of God. Reger Funeral Home is in charge of 
    arrangements.
