Obituary
Myrtle Elizabeth Lively
Smith 89 of Huntington, WV was united in heaven with her husband Thursday
July,19, 2012. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday July 22 at 4:00 PM
at Buffalo Valley Missionary Baptist Church by Pastors Tim Jayne and Hamlet
Don Smith. Visitors will be received one hour prior to the service.
Internment at Riggs-Smith Cemetery in Wayne County. Myrtle was born
May 27, 1923 at Kimberly, WV, daughter of the late Louis A. and Minnie S
Lively. She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Clair S.
Smith along with five brothers and four sisters and a daughter-in-law, Mindy
Jackson Smith. Survivors include a brother, Louis Lively Jr. of Pineville,
WV and one sister, Edith Pell of Montgomery, WV . Surviving children include
three sons and daughters-in-law: Don and Barbara of Rupert, WV; Mark and
Connie of Huntington, WV; Dan and Lisa of Winston, Ga. Daughters and
sons-in-law: Roger and Carolyn Napier of Clearwater, FL; Donald and Annette
Irvin of Huntington, WV; Dr. Gregory and Verna Hale of St. Pete Beach, FL.
Myrtle is the much loved mother of six, grandmother of 20 and great
grandmother of 39 children.
