    Former Huntington, West 
    Virginia resident Christopher Ward 
    passed away June 4, 2015 in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Christopher was 
    born in Huntington, West Virginia on May 8, 1977 and graduated from 
    Huntington High School. He later attended Marshall University, where he 
    received his B.B.A. At the time of his death, Christopher resided in 
    Jacksonville, Florida and was employed by BB&T as a Market Leader. 
    Christopher loved his family, friends, fishing at the beach and was a huge 
    sports fanatic (GO HERD! and GO BLUE!). In fact, Christopher died while 
    doing what he loved – playing basketball in North Carolina (GO TARHEELS!).  
    Christopher was a cherished husband to Holly Nicole Ward and proud father of 
    Sophie Fiona Ward and Declan Caine Ward. He was the beloved oldest son of 
    Kimberly S. Ward and David Clay Ward. Christopher is also survived by his 
    two grandmothers, Ivry “Granny” Ward and Jean Ann Harker; his two loving 
    brothers, Matthew L. Ward (spouse – Candice Ward) and Richard K. Ward 
    (spouse – Suzanne Ward); his brother-in-law, Jared Gravenor; his stepmother, 
    Brenda S. Ward; his mother-in-law, Tammy Gravenor; his father-in-law, John 
    Gravenor, Jr.; nieces and nephews, Mason and Carrigan (parents - Matthew and 
    Candice), Brody (parents - Richard and Suzanne), his stepbrother, Barney 
    Smith (spouse – Stephanie Smith, his children Albert Cover and Evan Smith); 
    various aunts, uncles and cousins and countless friends. Services will be 
    held at Reger Funeral Home in Huntington, West Virginia on Wednesday, June 
    10, 2015 with visitation from noon to 2:00 pm, funeral services will be 
    conducted at 2:00 pm by Rev. Bill DeMoss at the Reger Funeral Chapel with 
    graveside committal services to follow at the Ward Family Cemetery, 
    Huntington, WV. Pallbearers are as follows: Cousin and good friend, Josh 
    Bentle, Samuel Markins, Justin Sullivan, Doug McCullough, Greg Menear and 
    Travis Elliott.
