    Murl W. Donahoe, 
    87 of South Point, Ohio passed away Saturday, June 27, 2015 at his 
    residence. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 
    1, 2015 at Sunshine Freewill Baptist Church, James River Road by Pastor Jody 
    Fortner and Dr. Carl Lilly. Burial will follow in Donahoe Family Cemetery, 
    Camp Creek Road, Wayne County. Murl was born November 7, 1927 in Wayne 
    County, WV, a son of the late Byron and Bertha Smith Donahoe. He was a 
    carpenter by trade, a veteran of the U.S. Army and a member of Sunshine 
    Freewill Baptist Church. Preceding him in death was his wife Ruby Fortner 
    Donahoe, three brothers, Burl, Byron, Jr. and Bernice Donahoe, and four 
    sisters, Blanche Crockett, Marjorie Preece, Fredia Chereka and Dorothy Lea 
    Donahoe. Those that survive him include two sons, Ron (Gail) Donahoe of 
    Chesapeake, OH; Murl (Lori) Donahoe of South Point, OH; three daughters, 
    Joyce (Rich) Duvendeck, Lois (Chuck) McCormick all of South Point, OH and 
    Barb (John) Willard of Bonfield, Illinois. In addition, thirteen 
    grandchildren and their spouses: Richard (Terri ) Duvendeck, Stephanie ( 
    Cory) Pope, Christi ( Terry) Nichols, Ronnie (Pam) Donahoe, Jessi (Marc) 
    Davis, Mike (Shannon) McCormick, Brian (Natalie) McCormick, Crystal Thomas, 
    Debbie (Adam) Woodruff, Amanda Willard, Chris Donahoe, Brittany ( Craig) 
    Blayne and special friend Kristen Smith. In addition, the following 
    great-grandchildren: Colby, Matthew, Noah and Elijah Duvendeck, Ryan Royce 
    and Caesyn Pope, Aaron Donahoe Jake, Tianna Lewis and Dilan Nichols, Amanda, 
    Dakota and Riley Martin, Kyera, Wesley and Marc Davis, Tyler, Nathan and 
    Hannah McCormick, Griffin McCormick, Josh, and Jayden , Nathaniel, Ne'riah 
    and Idila Thomas, and Wyatt Woodruff; two brothers, Carl and his wife Gene 
    Donahoe of TN, and Curtis Donahoe of OH, three sisters, Alta Ball of FL., 
    Beulah Reynolds of KS, and Gayzell Quinn of NC, and a host of nieces and 
    nephews, including a special nephew Jim Donahoe who was like a brother to 
    him. Visitation will be from 6-8 PM Tuesday, June 30 at Sunshine Freewill 
    Baptist Church,2111 James River Road, Huntington, WV.
