Obituary
Cora Lee Spence,
76, of Huntington, passed away Wednesday February 18, 2015 at the Emogene
Dolin Jones Hospice House. Cora was born on January 11, 1939 in Cabell
County to the late Marry Mullins Marcum and Charles Dorton. She was a
retired waitress for Shoney's and a former member of the Barboursville
Church of God. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 pm on Friday,
February 27, 2015 at the Reger Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow at Bowen
Cemetery. In addition to her parents Cora is preceded in death by her
husband Ronald Ray Spence and step son Ronald Ray Spence Jr. and step
grandson Ronald Ray Spence III. She is survived by 2 daughters Tonya Christy
Hartley and Diana Lynn and Brian Scott France of Huntington. 2 step
daughters Vicki and Allen Randolph of Teays Valley, WV and Terri Tulloh of
Hurricane, WV. Grandchildren Christopher Ray Brent, Zachary Ryan Hartley,
Morgan Lynn France, Hallie Leigh France, Riley Hope France, Peyton Carter
France, and Brian Scott France II. Step-Grandchildren Tiffany Hedrick,
Stephanie Randolph, and Christen Regal, Charles William Spence, several
great grandchildren, brother Herschel and Gratus Marcum of Huntington, a
sister Ruth and Bill Adkins of Salt Rock, WV, and several nieces and
nephews. Friends may call from 1 pm until service time on Friday, February
27, 2015 at the Reger Funeral Home.
