Obituary
Dorothy Ann “Dot” Fitzpatrick,
82, of Huntington, loving wife and mother, passed away Friday February 13,
2015 at her residence. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:30 PM Tuesday
at the Reger Funeral Chapel by Minister Bob Huron. Burial will follow in
Hillcrest Cemetery, Kenova, WV. She was born October 16, 1932 in Huntington,
WV, a daughter of the late Jake Collins and Minnie Barbee Wagers. She was
homemaker. “Dot” graduated from St. Joseph High School and was a member of
the Westmoreland Church of Christ where she was a member of the Loyal
Daughters and enjoyed serving the church where she was a hugger. In addition
to her parents she was also preceded in death by a son James David
Fitzpatrick and sister Bonnie Lee Sowards. Survivors include her husband of
58 years Robert Wayne “Bob” Fitzpatrick; daughter and son in law Terrilyn
and Roger Keith Mitchell of Huntington and two nieces. The family wishes to
extend a special thanks to her caregivers: Jamie Berglund, Toni Smith, Cathy
Riggs, Georgeanna from Hospice Sharon Fitzpatrick, T.L.C. Friends may call
from 11:30 AM until service time on Tuesday at the Reger Funeral Home.
