Obituary
John Andrew Scheneberg,
69, of Huntington, loving husband, father and grandfather, went to be with
the Lord on Thursday October 10, 2013. Funeral services will be conducted at
11 am Monday at the Westmoreland Baptist Church by Dr. C.J. Adkins. Burial
will follow in Crescent Hill Cemetery, Ceredo, WV. He was born March 13,
1944 in Cotulla, TX a son of the late John Bluford and Beatrice Coleman
Scheneberg. He was a retired operator for BASF and a member of the
Westmoreland Baptist Church. In addition to his parents he was preceded in
death by a sister Evelyn Scheneberg. Survivors include his wife of 48 years
Connie Faye Tomblin Scheneberg; two sons and daughters in law John Owen and
Katy Scheneberg of Chula Vista, CA, and Fred Lee and Kimberly Dawn
Scheneberg of Winfield, WV; daughter Andrea Jeanne Johnson-Bailey of
Hartford, Wisconsin; six grandchildren Katelyn, Hannah, Andrew Ryan, Matthew
Nicholas, Alisa Faye and John Gregory; two step grandchildren Lori and
Matthew; two brothers and a sister in law George Lee Scheneberg and Michael
and Terri Scheneberg all of Chesapeake, Ohio; two sisters and a brother in
law Suzanne Kreke of Proctorville, Ohio and Martha and Jack Reynolds of
Martha, WV; special nephews Jimmy and Mickey and special niece Samantha and
her son Caleb. Friends may call from 10 am until service time at the
Westmoreland Baptist Church.
