    Helen Faye Neal Meadows, 
    94, joined Jesus Christ and many family members and friends in Heaven on 
    Thursday October 18, 2012. She was born in Huntington on January 17, 1918 to 
    the late Isaac and Arminta Burchett Neal. Helen retired from Bell-Atlantic 
    Telephone after 45 years of service, working up from operator to a 
    supervisor during her service. She was a member of the Tele-Communications 
    Pioneers Club of Huntington. A member of Grace Gospel Church, she taught 
    Sunday School for 50 years. She also worked in Vacation Bible School for 
    many years. Helen was an avid fan of the Marshall University football and 
    basketball teams. Helen was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, 
    Arthur G. Meadows. She was also preceded in death by sisters Virgie Neal 
    Halbert, Vina Neal, Eloise Neal; brothers Willard, Donald, Charlie, Shelby 
    and Elbert Neal. Her survivors include son David Meadows of Lansing, 
    Michigan, daughter Barbara Ann Meadows of Huntington, and grandson Samuel 
    Meadows of Chicago, Illinois, her “other daughter” Linda Yost Eicher of 
    South Point, Ohio and godson Christopher A. Eicher of Charleston, WV. She 
    will be dearly missed by her special nieces and nephews. Helen was gently 
    and lovingly attended at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House of Huntington 
    during her last few days. The family would also like to say a special thanks 
    to the doctors and nurses at the Cabell Huntington Hospital ER Department 
    and ICU Department for their care of Helen after her stroke. In lieu of 
    flowers , the family requests donations be sent to Hospice of Huntington or 
    the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House of Huntington. Funeral services will 
    be conducted at 3 pm Sunday, October 21, 2012 at the Reger Funeral Chapel by 
    Pastor Jerry Matt and Pastor Larry Yost. Burial will follow in Woodmere 
    Memorial Park, Huntington. Friends may call from 2 pm until service time on 
    Sunday at the Reger Funeral Home.
