Obituary
Connie Sue Settle,
65, of Huntington, passed away Monday December 10, 2012 at St. Mary’s
Medical Center after a short illness. Connie was born October 24, 1947 in
Cabell County, WV, a daughter of the late Garland Settle and Mary Chandler
Yeager. Connie has two surviving half-sisters Alma Yeager Hager and Margaret
Yeager Johnson both of Russellville, KY; two nieces Barbara Hager Adkins of
Ashland, KY and Joy Hager Holton Ray of Huntington; two great nephews James
J. Adkins, II of Huntsville, Ala and his daughters Victoria Adkins and
Jasmine Adkins and Kenneth Holton of Coal Grove, Ohio and his wife Heather
and daughter Isabella Holton. She had many special friends including Keith
and Lou Lucas and Tim and Angel Porter and their children. Connie had a
large church family at Living Waters Church where she had worshiped for many
years. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm Thursday at the Living
Waters Church by Pastor Truman Maynard, Rev. Eugene Haney, Rev. Jack Collins
and Rev. Jason Paynter. Burial will follow in Woodmere Memorial Park,
Huntington. Friends may call from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Wednesday at the Reger
Funeral Home and after noon Thursday at the church.
