Obituary
Charlotte Mudge,
93, of Huntington, passed away Wednesday, August 8, 2012 in St. Mary’s
Medical Center, Huntington. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 pm
Friday at the Reger Funeral Chapel by Rev. Jerry Chapman. Burial will follow
in Woodmere Memorial Park, Huntington. She was born August 22, 1918 in
Huntington, WV a daughter of the late Roy and Thelma Crawford Thompson.
Charlotte was a member of the Open Door Baptist Church and she worked for 25
years in the office of the Counsel for the US Army Corps of Engineers. In
addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers Jimmy and
Jack Thompson and three sisters Anna May Rose, Mary Jane Wolfe and Margaret
(Midge) Chatterton. Survivors include her husband Alvin Mudge; daughter
Marlene Swann Mannon and her husband Leo of Huntington; granddaughter
Michelle Macri and her husband Philip of Huntington; step son Richard Mudge
and his wife Patricia and three step grandchildren all of Michigan; brother
Billy Joe Thompson of Huntington and sister Martha Janet Stump of Huntington
and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends may call from 1pm until
service time on Friday at the Reger Funeral Home.
