Obituary
JOAN FRALEY HENSLEY,
69, of Huntington, W.Va., died Wednesday, August 8, 2012, in Cabell
Huntington Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday,
August 11, 2012, at the Reger Funeral Chapel by Elder Roger Maynard; burial
will follow in Spring Valley Memory Gardens, Huntington. Joan was born
August 6, 1943, in Wayne County, West Virginia a daughter of the late
Charles T. and Hannah Frasher Fraley. She was a member of Salem United
Baptist Church of Wayne. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in
death by her daughter Rebecca Ann Hensley; seven brothers, Otis T. Fraley,
Howard Ellwood Fraley, Frank Fraley, Therrill Fraley, Garland Fraley,
Bernard Fraley, Glen Fraley and one sister Iva Fay Maynard. Those that
survive her include one daughter Janet Lee (Scott) Ward, one son Carl Thomas
(Tara) Hensley, five grandchildren, Michael, Jesse, Joshua Ward, Rebekah and
Nathaniel Hensley and one great-grandchild Lucas Michael Ward. In addition,
two brothers, Willie S. (Carrie) Fraley, Charles T. Fraley, Jr. (Mary) and
four sisters, Avonelle Hitch, Carol (George) Nelson, Naomi Cyfers and Mary
Lee (Jack) Shy, survive. Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at the
Reger Funeral Home.
