Charles Edwin Polan
(February 28, 1938 - January 3, 2014)

Charles Edwin Polan, 75, of Huntington, passed away Friday, January 3, 2014 at Cabell Huntington Hospital. He was the son of Dr. L. M. Polan and Nancy Moore Polan. Charles is survived by one brother, Bill Polan, three nephews, Michael Joseph Polan, Robert Shane Polan and Benjamin F.C. Polan, and a niece, Chase M.M. Polan. He was born in Wheeling, WV and was raised in Huntington. Charles attended Marshall College Rollins College, Winter park, FL, and Law School at the University of Louisville. Charles will be greatly missed by his friends and family. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, January 6 at Spring Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the Cammack Children's Center or the Boy Scouts of America.
