Lourice Salem Fattaleh

Lourice Salem Fattaleh, 90, of Huntington, died Wednesday, January 29, 2014 at Madison Park. Lourice was born November 8, 1923 in Beckley, WV, daughter of the late Mose and Mary Zain Salem. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, James Fattaleh; a son, Thomas Michael Fattaleh; two sisters, Jeanette Moss and Lila Anderson; and a brother, Theodore Salem. She and her husband owned and operated the former Huntington Photo Lab. She is survived by seven children: James Theodore and his wife Patricia Fattaleh of Huntington, Frances Kathleen and her husband John Barr of Pittsford, NY, Paul Joseph and his wife Laura Fattaleh of Dublin, OH, David Edwin and his wife Terry Fattaleh of Pawleys Island, SC, John Anthony and his wife Robin Fattaleh of Annapolis, MD, Edna Marie and her husband Tim Meisel of Huntington, WV, and Lawrence Matthew Fattaleh also of Huntington, WV; daughter-in-law Barbara Fattaleh of Roanoke, VA; brothers-in-law, Robert J. Moss of Huntington and Larry Fattaleh of Phoenix, AZ; sisters-in-law, Effie Salem of Huntington and Gerry Sherrill of Chandler, AZ; 13 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Funeral Liturgy will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, February 3, 2014 by Father Paul Yuenger at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Woodmere Memorial Park. The family will receive friends 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Klingel Carpenter Mortuary.
