Mrs. Karen Yvonne Sewell
(July 9, 1939 - December 1, 2010)

Karen Yvonne Sewell, 71, of Huntington, went to be with our Lord peacefully Wednesday, December 1, 2010 in the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House of Huntington. A graveside service will be held 2 p.m. Friday, December 3, 2010 in the White Chapel Mausoleum , Barboursville, WV. Visitation will be 1:30 p.m. prior to the service. Karen was born in Huntington, WV on July 9, 1939. She was the daughter of the late Jay Vilas and Lillian Clutter. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother Jerome Clutter. Left to cherish her memory are John Sewell and her sons Wade Knapp of Jacksonville, FL, Bret Knapp of Huntington, Jay and Elizabeth Sewell of Huntington, Emmett Sewell of Huntington and one daughter Jada Keesee of Huntington. And she was blessed with eight grandchildren, Brandon, Madie, Jonathon, Alexandra, and Taylor Knapp, Jacob Sewell, Teddy and Olivia Keesee. Karen was known best for her love of animals. We love you. The family extends their thanks and appreciation to special friends who brighten up her life every day. In lieu of flowers, it is suggested donations be made to non-kill shelters.
