Joan George Rahal

Joan George Rahal, 79, of Huntington, died Friday, December 10, 2010 in Cabell Huntington Hospital. She was born August 18, 1931 in Huntington, a daughter of the late Michael and Hilda Gottos George, Sr. She was a graduate of Huntington High School, Marshall University and taught Home Economics at Barboursville Junior High School. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Marguerite George Esber and a brother, Mike George, Jr. She is survived by two sons, Edward Michael Rahal and David Allen Rahal. Friends may call 4:00 to 6:00 p.m., Saturday, December 11, 2010 at Klingel-Carpenter Mortuary. Funeral Services will be private for the family. The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to Dr. Charles Clements and the staff of Doctors and Nurses at Cabell Huntington Hospital Respiratory, Physical Therapy, Transitional Care and Intensive Care units.
