Mildred "Millie" Horn

Mildred “Millie” Horn, 96, of South Point, Ohio widow of John Horn passed away on Friday, November 16, 2018 at Heartland of Riverview, South Point, Ohio Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, November 24, 2018 at 1:00pm at the Reger Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Gardens, South Point, Ohio Millie was born on July 28, 1922 in Wayne County, WV the daughter of the late Harry and Elizabeth Steele McKee. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her two daughters; Janice Snell and Cheryl Lycans. She is survived by her grandchildren: Beverlee, Brent and Bryan Blair, Anthony Lycans and Angela Gue, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren and a son in law: Wilmont Snell. Mildred Horn, affection ally called “Millie” by all who knew her, devoted much of her life to helping friends and neighbors in her community. When there was a death in her South Point Baptist Church family, she immediately began cooking her locally famous country steaks along with other food to take to the home of the grieving family. Mildred Lee Horn was always thinking of others first and that is her legacy. Friends may call from noon until service time on Saturday at the Reger Funeral Home.
