Donna Lou Hammond
(May 24, 1950 - November 27, 2018)

Donna Lou Hammond, of Huntington, passed away peacefully Tuesday November 27, 2018 at Cabell Huntington Hospital following an extended illness.  Born May 24, 1950, she was the daughter of the late Donald K. and Lucille V. (Cartwright) Hammond.  Also preceding her in death was a brother, James D. “Danny” Hammond.  Survivors include two sisters, Suzie (Jerry) Fullen of Union, WV and Janette Hammond of Hurricane, WV; one niece Laura (Dustin) Thomas and one adored great nephew Cole Thomas of Hurricane.  Also survived by an uncle, Jimmy (Lula) Cartwright of Jonesborough, TN and many cousins and friends.  She attended the Teays Valley Missionary Baptist Church and Westmoreland Baptist Church.  Donna was a former investigator for WV DHHR, a child advocate (CASA) and a former Real Estate Agent with DK Hammond and Associates.   Funeral services will be conducted at 1 pm Saturday at the Reger Funeral Chapel by Rev. John D. Smith.  Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery, Huntington.  Friends may call from noon until service time on Saturday at the Reger Funeral Home.
