“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the
Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.”
    Jeremiah 29:11
God had a plan for a baby boy born in Shreveport LA. At two months of age he
brought that baby to West Virginia to be raised by a wonderful woman, Letty
Suttle. He was raised in Mount Hope West Virginia and graduated from Mt Hope
High School. He went on to attend Marshall University where he met and
married the love of his life. He promised to love her forever and that he
did. For almost 28 years he cherished her. On Monday, March 13th, 2017
Donald Lee Suttle, “Don” left his earthly family and went home to be with
Jesus. He left behind his wife Joni and son Gabriel. His family will
remember him as a wonderful husband who truly loved his wife. He
particularly enjoyed surprising her with special gifts and trips and
traveling to try new restaurants. Each time he would organize every small
detail to make the day special. He recently planned a father son fishing
trip with Gabriel which ended with Don winning a prize for the biggest
catch. When not with his wife he loved spending time alone. He was an avid
reader and particularly enjoyed science fiction. Playing video games and
watching tv with Gabriel were on his list of favorites. He also loved being
part of his team at Amazon where he had served for almost 6 years. While we
don’t know or understand God’s plan or His timing, we know that all things
work together for the good of them that love God, to them who are called
according to His purpose. (Romans 8:28) And we know that in all these things
we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am convinced
that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present
nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else
in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in
Christ Jesus our Lord.  (Romans 8:37-39)  A gathering of family
and friends will be from 1 pm until 3 pm on Thursday at New Life Church. A
Celebration of Don's life will be conducted at 3 pm Thursday at the church
    with Dr. Darrell Huffman presiding.
