Jack Edward Curtis, 84, formerly of Huntington, WV, passed away Monday, March 13, 2017 at the Compassionate Care Center of Richmond, KY. A graduate of Huntington East High School, he was preceded in death by his parents Roy and Frances Curtis, his wife Mary Regena Curtis, a daughter Sandra Gillespie and a granddaughter, Melissa Curtis. He is survived by two brothers Bill Curtis of Huntington, WV and David Curtis of Lexington, KY, and a sister Barbara Curtis of Huntington, WV. He is also survived by two daughters, Deborah Lynn Maynard (Gary) of Richmond, KY, Pamela Baker of Henrico, VA, and a son Mike Curtis of South Point, OH. He has seven surviving grandchildren, J.D. Maynard, Jeremy Maynard, Derrick Hatfield, Josh Ruckman, Aaron Ruckman, Andrew Ruckman , and Mikey Curtis. He left behind seven great-grandchildren. Jack was a retired electrician from Steel of West Virginia and a member of Christ Temple Church. Visitation will be from 12-2 PM Friday with the funeral service following in the Reger Funeral Chapel, Huntington, WV. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville.
