Obituary
Louis Sharp,
78, of Huntington, WV, passed away Tuesday May 26, 2015. He was preceded in
death by his parents Glen and Mildred Moulton Sharp and twin brother Larry
Sharp. He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Emily Dempsey Sharp
and his devoted daughter Cindy Ann Sharp. Though his niece by birth , he
considered Rebecca Pennington and her children Jenny (and her son Ben) and
Jesse (and his daughter Maggie) as his immediate family. He is also survived
by his dear sister Linda Elkins of Worthington, KY, loving brother Don Sharp
of St. Albans, WV and a whole host of nieces and nephews that he dearly
loved. He was a devout lifelong member of the Church of Jesus Christ of
Latter Day Saints and he retired from the city of Huntington with 33 years
of service. The family would like to gratefully acknowledge the loving care
and support over the past 3 years from his niece Liz Alexander and nephew
Paul Elkins and their families as well as our dear family friend Linda
Johnson. Funeral Services will be conductedat 1:00 pm on Friday, May 29,
2015 at the Reger Funeral Chapel by Bishop Jamie Wolfe. Friends may call
from 12:00 pm until service time on Friday, May 29, 2015 at the Reger
Funeral Home The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made
to the Hospice of Huntington for their kind and compassionate service to our
Louie.
