Obituary
Joyce Uldine Thompson Edwards,
82, of Heritage Center, Huntington, WV, formerly of Ceredo, WV, passed from
this life into eternal rest Friday March 20, 2015 at the Emogene Dolin Jones
Hospice House of Huntington. She was born December 20, 1932 in Crab Orchard,
WV, a daughter of the late Garnett and Beatrice Ash Hill. She was a
homemaker and a member of the 1st Baptist Church of Ceredo. In addition to
her parents she was also preceded in death by her first husband Arthur
Thompson and her second husband Dennis Edwards; an infant daughter Connie
Gay Thompson and an infant son Richard Allen Thompson and a granddaughter
Trina Eaves. Survivors include three sons Edward (Rose) Thompson of
Chesapeake, Ohio, Ronnie D. (Nina) Thompson of Huntington and Randy T.
(Deanna) Thompson of Proctorville, Ohio; one daughter Barbara J. (Jackie)
Watts of Wayne, WV; brother Doug (Jessie) Lilly of Wayne, WV and a host of
grandchildren, great grandchildren, family and friends. Funeral services
will be conducted at 1 pm Monday at the Reger Funeral Chapel by Pastor Eddie
Thompson and Pastor Dwight Mays. Burial will follow in White Chapel Memorial
Gardens, Barboursville. Friends may call from 4 -6 pm on Sunday at the Reger
Funeral Home.
