Glenn "G.R." Smith
(May 18, 1951 - August 29, 2014)

Glenn Ray Smith “G.R.”, owner of GR Smith Inc. was reunited with family and friends on Friday August 29, 2014, what a glorious reunion this will be. Glenn was born May 18, 1951 a son of the late CW “Bill” and Kathryn Smith. Glenn was preceded in death by brother Richard and father in law Glen Carpenter. Left to cherish Glenn’s memories are his best friend and wife of 40 years Beverly. His loving son Eric and his wife Kimberly and his sons Devon, Timmy and Jamison. Also surviving are Glenn’s sisters Agnes Adkins (Junior), Darlene Jeffrey (Mac) and Judy; brothers Henry (Carol), Rick (Donna) and Andrew (Jeannie) and mother in law Ruth Carpenter. Beverly and Eric would like to thank everyone who offered and provided support during this very difficult time. We would also like to thank St. Mary’s Medical Center, 6 South Team 3, Radiology Oncology, HIMG Oncology and Hospice of Huntington. In lieu of flowers please make contributions to the charity of your choice. Funeral services will be conducted at 7 pm Tuesday at the Reger Funeral Chapel by Rev. Dan Spreacker. Friends may call from 5 pm until service time Tuesday at the Reger Funeral Home.
