Obituary
Betty Jane Bentley,
82, of Chesapeake, Ohio, went home to be with her Lord, Saturday September
28, 2013. A celebration of life will be conducted at 2 pm Tuesday at the
Reger Funeral Chapel by Pastor Jerry Matt. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn
Memorial Gardens, Huntington. She was born November 6, 1930 in Cabell
County, WV, a daughter of the late Park and Auta Lee Fraley Ross. Betty was
a member of Grace Gospel Church. She was the first female sales person at
Chapman Printing retiring after 19 years of service. She also worked with
Habitat for Humanity. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death
by five brothers and one sister. Survivors include her husband of 66 years
James Bentley; one son and daughter in law Jim and Amber Bentley; two
grandchildren Dylan and Katie Bentley; cousin Jim Mays and nephew Charles
Ross. Friends may call from noon until service time on Tuesday at the Reger
Funeral Home. Contributions may be made to Grace Gospel Church, 1111 Adams
Ave., Huntington, WV 25704.
