    EVELYN PERDUE 
    WILLIAMS, 93, of Shoals, W.Va., went to be with the Lord on March 
    12, 2012. She was born on April 20, 1918 in Summersville, W.Va., a daughter 
    of the late Ernest and Maggie McClung. Preceding her in death was her 
    husband of 29 years Harold M. Perdue and her second husband of 14 years 
    Wayne Williams. She was also preceded in death by brothers Elvie and Okla 
    McClung of Summersville, W.Va., and sister Elizabeth Tiano of Phoenix, Ariz. 
    Surviving sisters are Isabelle Sweeney and Lillian Ramsey. Survivors include 
    her four children and spouses, Harold and Janice Perdue, Sharon Houchin and 
    companion Richard Stuart, Phillip and Brenda Perdue, Beth and Mike Murphy, 
    all of Shoals; step-sons Gene and Emory Williams; grandchildren and spouses 
    Troy and Marsha Houchin, Cherai Stapleton, Rusty Perdue, Amy and Jeff Ash, 
    Heather and Tony Wheeler, Reta and Marc Collins, Seana and Rob Eck, Wade 
    Murphy and his fiancée Kathryn Bell; great-grandchildren Cody and Maggie 
    Houchin, Solomon and Brighton Stapleton, Brandon and Brooklynn Ash, Keaton 
    Perdue, Reid and Sulley Collins, Oakley and Vance Wheeler and Finley and 
    Coral Eck. She was a faithful servant of Shoals Baptist Church. She was a 
    loving and generous person who touched the lives of many; she was everyone's 
    Granny. Although you are no longer with us, you will forever be in our 
    hearts. To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. Thank you 
    to her past caregiver Rose Pennington. A special thank you to the loving 
    staff and owners of Grayson Assisted Living for your excellent care, 
    dedication and compassion. Visitation is Thursday, March 15, 2012, from noon 
    until 2 p.m. at the Reger Funeral Home. Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. 
    Thursday at the Reger Funeral Chapel by Pastor Larry Skidmore and music by 
    Pastor Scott Byard. Burial will follow in Brumfield Cemetery, Wayne County, 
    West Virginia. Contributions may be made to the Shoals Baptist Youth Fund,
