James Gill
(December 26, 1929 - November 2, 2018)

James Gill 89, passed away Friday, Nov. 2, 2018, at his home in Barboursville, WV. James "Jim" was born Dec. 26. 1929 and was the son of the late John & Nan Walton of Charleston, WV. Jim was also preceded in death by his daughter Nancy Carole Gwinn Moore. He was survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Martha; three daughters, Sheila Ann Butler, husband Johnny, of Elkview, WV. Jamie Jon Lockhart, of Belpre, Ohio, Penny Sue Mahan, husband Keith, of Winter Park, Fl, a stepdaughter Candy Johnson, husband Joe, of Barboursville, WV. Jim had 10 grandchildren he so loved; Tim, Amanda, Owen, Joe, Jeff, Brandi, Jack, Jim, Heather, Joshua; 18 great grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. Jim retired from the CSX Railroad and was a Mason for over 50 years. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was a long-standing member of the Nitro Moose Lodge. Jim Attended the B'Nai Sholom Congregation Synagogue in Huntington, WV. Funeral service will be at 12:00pm, Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at White Chapel Memorial Gardens by Rabbi Jean Eglinton. A visitation will be from 11:00am until service time. Entombment will follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens.
