Cornelia Frances "Babe" Farrar

Cornelia Frances "Babe" Farrar, 83, of Huntington, died Monday, October 10, 2011 in Cabell Huntington Hospital. Graveside services will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, October 13, 2011 at White Chapel Memorial Gardens mausoleum, Barboursville by Chaplin John Hathaway. She was born August 18, 1928 in Dixon, WV; a daughter of the late Buck and Lola Shannon Saunders. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband William Farrar; two brothers, Bob and Tommy Saunders; two sisters, Avanell Butler and Bessie Ray. She is survived by her two sons, Greg Farrar of Huntington and Jeff Farrar and his wife Missy of Huntington; seven grandchildren, Trent, Drew, Ryan, Ian, and Zachary Farrar and Nikolas and Haley Barber; one great-grandchild, Riese Farrar and several nieces and nephews. Klingel Carpenter Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
