Ms. Jennifer L. Floyd

JENNIFER L. FLOYD, 59, of Ona, W.Va., passed away Wednesday, June 1, 2011, in her home on Martin Drive. She was born May 26, 1952, in Huntington, daughter of the late Robert and Peggy Floyd. She is survived by a maternal aunt, Mary Frances Isbell of Elizabeth City, N.C.; a maternal uncle, Leslie Waugh, of Sumter, S.C; a host of cousins and other extended family; and a circle of dear friends. Miss Floyd was a Triage Clinician with Prestera Center, where she worked 24 years. She graduated from Huntington High School in 1970 and from Marshall University with a masters degree in counseling. A graveside memorial service will be held Monday, June 13, 10 a.m., at Woodmere Memorial Park in Huntington. Her cousin, Michael Isbell of Washington, N.C., is officiating. Burial will follow the service. Friends may visit with the family at the gravesite. Klingel-Carpenter Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
