Mrs. Ellen Jacobs Weinberger

Ellen J. Weinberger, 60, of Huntington, died Thursday, September 23, 2010. A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. Sunday, September 26, 2010 by Rabbi David E. Wucher at Klingel Carpenter Mortuary. Ellen was born February 17, 1950 in Birmingham, AL, a daughter of the late Alfred and Zelda Stein Jacobs. She is also preceded in death by one brother, Bruce Jacobs. Mrs. Weinberger was a member of the B’Nai Sholom Congregation of Huntington. She is survived by her husband, Richard Weinberger, and two sons, Dr. Paul Weinberger and Ned Weinberger and his fiancee, Meredith Cohen, all of Philadelphia, PA., and one brother, Jeffrey Jacobs of Huntsville, AL. In lieu of flowers, it is suggested memorial contributions be made to a charity of one’s choice. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
