	Mrs. Leora Avon Yoak, age 91, of 
	Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, passed away Tuesday morning, October 19th, 2022, at 
	her residence. She was born on July 3rd, 1931, in Davenport Iowa, the 
	daughter of the  
	late Herbert Henry Mildt and Elsie Julie Mildt. Leora was preceded in death 
	by her husband of 38 years, Dr. Robert Walter Yoak of Bethlehem GA, formally 
	Huntington WV; and stepson Rodney Yoak of Almo, KY. She was a Christian by 
	faith and a homemaker. She enjoyed gardening, quilting, and reading, and an 
	avid collector of colored glass, especially vintage red and green glass. She 
	was a past patron of the Order of Eastern Star in Guyandotte, WV, and a 
	member of the Antique Automobile Club of America. Leora is survived by her 
	stepdaughter and son-in-law, Janet Light (Toney) of Hot Springs Arkansas; 
	eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one 
	great-great-grandchild. She also leaves many other family members and 
	friends who will sadly miss her. The Celebration of Life will be held at 11 
	a.m. Thursday, October 27, 2022, at Christ’s Church of Yukon in Yukon 
	Oklahoma with Pastor Clay Parrett officiating.  There will be an immediate burial in Oaklawn
