Obituary
Barbara Ann Wallace Mitchell Jarrell, 72 of
Culloden, WV formerly of Huntington, WV passed away, Friday, January 28,
2022 in Cabell Health Care Center, Culloden, WV. She was born July 12, 1949
in Huntington, WV the daughter of the late, Charles Sherman Wallace and
Virginia Mae Dailey Wallace. She worked in the healthcare industry as a
receptionist and was a member of Altizer Baptist Church. In addition to her
parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Tina Mitchell and one
son, William Mitchell. She is survived by three daughters, Tabatha Drake of
Huntington, WV, Linda Shumate of Knoxville, TN and Christy Mitchell of
Savannah, GA; two sisters, Libby Buchanan (Bob) of Indianapolis, IN and
Virginia Wyatt of Fort Payne, AL; one brother, James Wallace of Huntington,
WV; ten grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren and a host of friends.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 M on Friday, February 4, 2022 at
Henson and Kitchen Mortuary 6357 E. Pea Ridge Rd. Huntington, WV near
Barboursville. Burial will follow in the Neal Cemetery, Milton, WV. The
family will receive friends an hour prior to services on Friday at Henson
and Kitchen Mortuary.
