Kelly Shane Woodard
(May 15, 1970 - June 18, 2018)

Kelly Shane Woodard, 48, of Kilgore Creek Road, Milton, WV, passed away Monday, June 18, 2018 in St. Mary’s Medical Center after a nine month battle with cancer.  He was born May 15, 1970 in Huntington, WV, a son of the late Buck Woodard.  He was also preceded in death by grandparents, Charlie and Ilma Woodard; two uncles and three aunts.  Kelly was a graduate of Milton High School and worked as a mechanic.  He is survived by three sons, Steven, Dezmond and Austin of Milton; brother, Tracy (Kelly Jo) of Milton; four aunts, Mary, Babe and Pat Woodard of Milton and Elsie Wroten of St. Albans; one uncle, Jackie Woodard of Milton; stepmother, Renatha Smith-Woodard; stepsister, Tammy McDaniel; stepbrother, Tommy Smith; companion and caregiver, Lora Beth Rose and “Little Matt”, to whom the family gives many thanks for taking him to appointments, treatments and care; also many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, June 22, 2018 at Heck Funeral Home, Milton.  Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 23 at the funeral home with Pastor Mark Finley officiating.  Burial will follow in Culloden Cemetery.
