Shane Allen Barrett
(May 9, 1981 ~ August 25, 2017)

Shane Allen Barrett, 36, of Milton passed away unexpectedly on Friday, August 25, 2017 at St. Mary’s Medical Center, Huntington.  He was born May 9, 1981, son of Debbie Craigo of Milton and the late Greg Barrett.  In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his uncle, Gary Henry; maternal grandparents, Basil and Faye Henry and paternal grandparents, Bill and Bonnie Barrett.  Shane enjoyed fishing, bonfires and shooting pool and his passion was demolition derby.  He was employed at the Home Depot, Teays Valley.  He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Debbie and Danny Craigo of Milton; sister, Tara Craigo of Milton; fiancé, Crystal McClellan of Culloden; her children, Jacob Wade and Siarah Wade; aunt, Gail Thompson of Milton; step grandmother, Deloris Craigo of Poca; uncles, Jeff Barrett of Huntington and Gary Craigo of Poca; cousins, Tonya and Stacy Dean of Proctorville, OH, Amber and Jaden McCormick of Milton and Asley Jeffers of Hurricane.  Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, August 31, 2017 at Heck Funeral Home, Milton.  Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, September 1 with Pastor Gordon Rutherford officiating.  Burial will follow in Union Ridge Cemetery.
