Obituary

Ruth O. Davis, 73, of Milton, passed away Saturday, January 9, 2010 in St. Mary’s Medical Center.  Funeral service will be conducted 1:00 PM, Tuesday, January 12, 2010 at Heck Funeral Home, Milton with Rev. Gordon Rutherford officiating.  Burial will follow in Forest Memorial Park, Milton.  She was born September 21, 1936 in Cabell County, WV, a daughter of the late Elva and Wilda Rutherford Scarberry.  She was also preceded in her death by her husband, Oscar V. Davis; two brothers and two sisters.  She was a homemaker and will be missed by all whom she leaves behind.  She is survived by her children, Rosalea and John Gray of Glenwood, Ronald and Tonya Davis of Milton, William Mark Davis of Glenwood, Madeline and Donnie Garrett of Milton, Kenneth Davis of Milton, and Steve Davis of Milton; sister, Sally Wood of Huntington; granddaughter, Virginia Holley; grandson, Jason Davis; two great grandsons, Arvil Holley and Levi Davis.  Visitation will be from 6 to 8 PM, Monday, January 11, 2010 at Heck Funeral Home, Milton.
