Obituary

Clara Jo Padon “Jo”, 88, of South Charleston, WV, passed away Tuesday, September 1, 2009 in CAMC Memorial Hospital.  Graveside funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, September 5, 2009 at Milton Cemetery with the Rev. Thomas Patrick Nolan officiating.  She was born September 27, 1920 in Milton, WV, a daughter of the late William Robert Johnson, Sr. and Norma Belle Chandler Johnson.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, Homer Padon; two brothers and six sisters.  She was a member of First United Methodist Church, South Charleston, WV and the Eastern Star.  She is survived by two sons, Max Padon and his wife, Becky of Great Falls, VA and Scott Padon of Charleston; five grandchildren; seven great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.  Friends may call Friday, September 4, 2009 from 7 to 9 p.m. at Heck Funeral Home, Milton.
