Obituary

Ruth Irene McCallister, 78, of Milton, passed away February 8, 2009 in Sunbridge Care and Rehabilitation of Putnam.  Funeral service will be conducted 11:00 AM, Wednesday, February 11, 2009 at Heck Funeral Home, Milton.  Burial will follow in Forest Memorial Park, Milton. She was born October 26, 1930 in Huntington, WV a daughter of the late Roy and Junie Dailey Johnson.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, Herman H. McCallister; three grandchildren, Brian, Lisa, and Steven McCallister.  Ruth loved her family and will be missed by all whom she leaves behind.  She is survived by fours sons, James E. and Tammy McCallister of Milton, David L. and Mary McCallister of Lesage, Mike McCallister of Hurricane, and Herman G. and Chris McCallister of Milton; stepson, Herman Jr. and Mary Beckett of Salt Rock; seven grandchildren; ten great grandchildren.  Visitation will be from 6 to 8 PM on Tuesday, February 10, 2009 at Heck Funeral Home, Milton.
