Obituary

Robert Lindberg Dillon, 81, of Milton, passed away Monday, February 2, 2009 at his daughter’s home in Lake Wylie, SC.  Graveside service will be conducted 1:00 PM, Thursday, February 5, 2009 at  Milton Cemetery with Pastor Joseph Jarrett officiating.  He was born January 10, 1928 in Milton, WV a son of the late Christopher “C.C.” and Phoebe A. Burns Dillon.  He was also preceded in death by his wife, Opal Marie Dillon; two sisters, Thelma Jane Patterson and Betty Lee Dillon.  He was a retired truck driver and loved to spend time on his farm.  He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Robin and Albert Morris of Lake Wylie, SC; two granddaughters and their spouses, Megan (Nick) Roberts and Lindsey (Nathan) Rice; two great grandsons, Carson Rice and Zachary Roberts.  Friends may call from noon to 12:45 at the funeral home.  There will be a procession to the cemetery.
