Ronald Eugene Smith

Ronald Eugene Smith, 79, of Huntington passed away November 3, 2015 at The Wyngate in Barboursville. He was born February 10, 1936 in Huntington a son of the late George T. and Garnett Bailey Smith. Ronald had retired from CSX Railroad in 2000 after 42 years of service. He had also served his country in the U.S. Airforce. Survivors include his wife Annie L. Smith, 3 daughters; Sheila Ferrell (Eric Braye) of Mebane, NC, Deborah Fair (Julious L. Fair Jr.) of NewBern, NC and special daughter; Angie Kincaid of Huntington, one special sister; Constance M. Tynes (Donald) of Temple Hill, MD, one special granddaughter; Danne’ L. Wyngate (Alonzo) and 3 great grandchildren; Jonovan, Chance and Braylon. Nieces and nephews; Donald Tynes Jr. of Atlanta, GA, Diane Tynes of Temple Hills, MD, Anthony Smith of Huntington and Timothy Smith of Nashville, TN. A host of great nieces’ nephews cousins and friends also survive. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, November 7, 2015 at First Baptist Church in Huntington with Pastor Donte’ L. Jackson and Pastor Paul Willis officiating. Burial will follow in Woodmere Memorial Park. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services at the church. Ferrell-Chambers Funeral Home, Huntington is assisting the family.
