Obituary

Naomi G. Robinson France, 84, of Huntington, widow of the late Rev. James L. France, passed Friday, August 1, 2008 at Hospice of Huntington. Funeral Services will be held 2 pm Tuesday, August 5, 2008 at Ferrell-Chambers Funeral Home, Huntington, with Bro. Owen Jenkins officiating. Burial will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery, Huntington. Naomi was born February 14, 1924 in Huntington, WV a daughter of the late Etna and Mary A. Carpenter Robinson. She was a loving minister’s wife and mother. She was a Lifetime member of the Church of God and a member of the VFW Post 9738 Women’s Auxiliary. She was also preceded in death by a son, James “Jimmy” Etna France; a brother, Elmer F. Robinson and two sisters, Kathlene Sager and Dorothy Bledsoe. Survivors include a son, Rev. Michael D. France of Huntington; a daughter, Miriam L. France of Huntington; one brother, Rev. David L. Robinson of Montcalm, WV and a sister, Joies Callicoat of Kansas City, MO. Visitation will be from 12 noon until service time at Ferrell-Chambers Funeral Home, Huntington.
