Obituary

Garfield Bolden, 56 of Huntington passed away September 5, 2007 in St. Mary’s Medical Center. He was born March 21, 1951 in Raliegh WV, a son of the Late James H. Bolden and Ethea Gipson Bolden. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one brother, Carl Bolden. Garfield is survived by two sisters; Ethea M. Scott of Huntington and Mamie D. Ball (Todd) of Columbus, OH, three brothers; Alphonso G. Bolden (Frances) of Columbus, GA., Gordon Bolden (Marva) of AL., Tyrone G. Bolden (Janet) of NY., and one aunt Nellie Keeler of Huntington, a close family friend John Scott, and special friend Albert Davis He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and nephews friends and neighbors who loved him dearly. Funeral Services will be conducted 1:00pm Saturday at Ferrell-Chambers Funeral Home with Pastor Samuel Moore officiating. Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:00 noon until service time.
