Obituary

Glellene L. Seibert, 82, of Huntington, widow of Lawrence H. Seibert passed away Thursday, October 18, 2007 at St. Mary’s Medical Center, Huntington. Private graveside services were held 11:00am Monday, October 22, 2007 at Forest Memorial Park Milton. Glellene was born May 31, 1925 in Greendale, Ohio, a daughter of the late Pearl and Frances Cremeans Amos. She deeply loved caring for animals, restoring furniture and working outdoors. She held several jobs throughout her life, but her true passion was being a homemaker. Survivors include one son; David Seibert of Proctorville, OH, an “adopted” son; Jerry McComas, two sisters; Mary Rachse of Jasper IN and Irene Smallridge of Huntington, one brother; Leroy Amos of Huntington, two grandchildren; David Seibert, Jr. of Huntington and Kerri (Randy) Gore of Chapmanville, WV, and four great –grandchildren; Emily S. Seibert and Heley M. Seibert both of Huntington, Zachary D. Harrison and Courtney S. Harrison both of Kenova. Private visitation was held Sunday from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Ferrell-Chambers Funeral Home, Huntington.
