John Henry Stroud
(August 19, 1951 - December 10, 2007)

John Henry Stroud, 56 of Huntington, passed away Monday, December 10, 2007 at St. Mary’s Medical Center. He was born August 19, 1951 in Huntington, West Virginia, a son of the late Martha Allen and Joe Willie Stroud, Sr. He was self-employed until he became disabled. John is survived by his wife, Beverly Skeans; two step-sons and a daughter-in-law; Jeremy and LaDonna Skeans of Huntington and John Skeans of Huntington; one brother, Joe Willie Stroud, Jr.; one half-brother Lyndon King of Toledo, OH; one step-grandson, Nicholas. A host of other loving relatives and friends also survive. A memorial service will be held 11:00 am Monday, December 17, 2007 at Ferrell-Chambers Funeral Home with the Rev. Gary Edwards officiating.
